Pacific Christian Changes Its Name

Pacific Christian College this month became Hope International University.

It’s a new name, but the campus is the same, university officials said. The university will incorporate the school of graduate studies, the school of professional studies and the traditional undergraduate school.

The university’s undergraduate program will continue to be known as Pacific Christian College.

The 1,000-student institution was founded in 1928 as Pacific Bible Seminary. In 1963, its name was changed to Pacific Christian College. It offers master’s degrees in ministry, marriage, family and family counseling, business administration, education and management.
