Antelope Valley 21, Citrus 14--The Owls (3-3, 2-2) held the Foothill Conference’s leading rusher, Lafayette Bailey, to 60 yards in 19 carries and still lost as Bailey scored for the Marauders (4-2, 3-1) on runs of 25 and two yards.
Kenyatta Dawson’s one-yard touchdown in the third quarter put Antelope Valley up, 21-7. He finished with 48 yards in 12 carries. Ricky Allen carried 18 times for 105 yards for Antelope Valley.
The Marauders were able to overcome losing five of eight fumbles.
