Thousand Oaks 14, Royal 10--Scott Ange’s one-yard plunge on the first play of the fourth quarter put the Lancers (3-3, 2-1) ahead to stay at Royal.
Wes Cobos led Thousand Oaks with 105 yards rushing in 13 carries, and Robert Hueners rushed for 93 carries in nine carries. Bryant Phipps carried 14 times for 114 yards for the Highlanders (3-3, 0-3).
Ange completed seven of 15 passes for 84 yards, including an an eight-yard touchdown to James Birdseye in the second quarter to give the Lancers a 7-3 lead.
