In other state volleyball playoff matches:
Flintridge Sacred Heart d. El Cajon Christian, 15-3, 15-2, 15-2--Megan Hosp had 13 kills while Danielle Dal Ponte and Paulina Flint each had 11 kills for the top-seeded Tologs (17-3) in a Division IV first-round match at St. Francis High.
Flintridge Sacred Heart, the two-time defending Southern Section Division IV-AA champion, will host the winner of Tuesday’s Marlborough-Bishop match in the second round.
Bakersfield Garces d. St. Bonaventure, 8-15, 12-15, 15-12, 15-9, 15-9--A two-game lead didn’t hold up and an improbable postseason run ended for the visiting Seraphs (13-8), who marched to the Southern Section Division IV-A final and the first round of the state playoffs after finishing fourth in the Tri-Valley League.
Kim Freitas had 14 kills for host Garces (26-9).
