The U.S. men’s national water polo team will play Australia in an exhibition Sunday at Corona del Mar High. The 4 p.m. game is the final of three between the teams, which are preparing for the 1998 World Championships in January at Perth, Australia.

The teams also played Tuesday at Long Beach Belmont Plaza and will play there again at 8 p.m. Friday. Admission is free at Belmont Plaza and $5 ($3 for students) at Corona del Mar.

Kevin Beavers signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Texas A&M;, Woodbridge Coach Dave Madrid said. Beavers, an outfielder and left-handed pitcher at Woodbridge, signed as a pitcher, Madrid said.
