The runner-up in the Golden League championships placed 18th in the Southern Section Division I final and 49th in the state meet to help the Rebels to a fourth-place finish.

Nordhoff, Senior
The four-time all-region selection won 12 of 13 races, including victories in the Ventura County championships and in the Division IV finals of the Southern Section and state championships.
Danielle Day
Quartz Hill, Senior
The New Mexico State-bound Day was named to the all-region first team for the third time after placing third in the Southern Section Division I final and 11th in the state meet.
Kim Garnic
La Canada, Junior
Breathing problems sidelined Garnic early in the season, but the two-time all-region selection won the Southern Section Division III final and placed eighth in the state championships to pace La Canada to its first title.
Jaclyn Pedersen
Royal, Freshman
The runner-up in the Ventura County and Marmonte League championships placed 16th in the Southern Section Division I final and 56th in the West regional.
Natalie Stein
North Hollywood, Freshman
The biggest find of the season became the first North Hollywood girl to win a City Section title and placed 13th in the Division I race of the state championships.
Second Team
Nicole Bonino, La Canada, Freshman
Bonino placed 14th in the Division III finals of the Southern Section and state championships.
Jeanene Gerry, Camarillo, Junior
Gerry finished third in the Marmonte League finals, 10th in the Ventura County championships and 15th in the Southern Section Division I final.
Carly Harrill, Quartz Hill, Junior
Harrill was the Rebels’ No. 2 or 3 runner for most of the season, finishing eighth in the Division I race of the Stanford Invitational and 37th in the state championships.
Kelley Hess, Thousand Oaks, Freshman
The Marmonte League champion placed third in the Ventura County championships and 12th in the Southern Section Division I final.
Jamie Newman, El Camino Real, Junior
Newman’s season ended with a disappointing 104th-place finish in the Division I race of the state championships, but she won the Northwest Valley Conference final and placed sixth in the City meet.
Rae Stumbough, Nordhoff, Sophomore
Stumbough went on a tear after a 19th-place finish in the Ventura County championships. She placed fourth in the Southern Section Division IV final, sixth in the state meet and won the sophomore race of the West regionals.
Michelle Wilkinson, Alemany, Senior
The Mission League champion finished eighth in the Southern Section Division III final and 20th in the state championships.
