Critical environmental issues are the focus of three undergraduate biology courses offered over the World Wide Web beginning Jan. 5 through UC Irvine.
The courses are offered through UCI Extension’s Access UCI, the university’s concurrent enrollment branch.
The three courses offered are: Biological Conservation, Introduction to Global Sustainability and Sustainable Oceans and Coastal Zones.
Access UCI allows adults to take undergraduate or graduate UCI courses without being formally admitted to a degree program.
Courses are open for enrollment subject to space availability and the campus department’s approval, providing course prerequisites are met. All courses carry credit, which may be counted toward a degree.
