“Dream Cars: Remembering the Future,” an exhibition at the Petersen Automotive Museum, features huge and glitzy cars planned between 1939 and 1964 that gave the public a glimpse into the future. Though most didn’t reach the production stage, they gave the public a chance to dream. Included in the exhibition are the 1954 Plymouth Belmont and the 1959 Chevrolet CERV-1.
