SANTA ANA — An 18-year-old man was fatally wounded Thursday night in a car-to-car shooting that police were investigating as a gang-related crime.
Pablo Cuevas of Santa Ana died at a local hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the torso as he sat in his car with friends in the 2100 block of South Center Street, Santa Ana Police Lt. Ken Hall said.
The 8:15 p.m. shooting also left an unidentified passenger in Cuevas’ car with an arm wound, Hall said. No information on the suspects or their vehicle was available Friday, he said.
