Costa Mesa’s Schwartz Wins Scratch Main

COSTA MESA — Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event of the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program in front of 5,121 Saturday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Mike Faria and John Aden of Apple Valley were second and third, respectively.
Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano won the eight-lap handicap main event with Shawn McConnell of Brea second and Andy Northrup of Ontario third.
