Vigilantes Fall to Tri-City, 5-2

Tri-City scored four runs in the first inning and went on to beat the Vigilantes, 5-2, in a Western League baseball game Tuesday night in Pasco, Wash.

The Vigilantes (10-13) scored in the ninth on Alan Burke’s two-run homer.

Ruben Nieble (2-2) was the winning pitcher for Tri-City (11-12), going seven innings and giving up three hits.

Scott Singleton was the losing pitcher (2-3).

The Vigilantes went over the 30,000 mark (31,793) last weekend and lead the eight-team WBL in total attendance.
