COACH OF THE YEAR: Margaret Neill, Paraclete.

Pick any sport at any level and Margaret Neill would still have the kind of coaching record that would place her in select company. Her Paraclete softball teams have won 19 consecutive league championships. The Spirits cruised to another High Desert League title this season, finishing three games ahead of Bishop and going undefeated in 10 league games. Overall, Paraclete finished 27-4 and was runner-up in the Southland Section Division V.
