“Year after year, one of the wines I get the most pleasure from is the L’Ermitage sparkling wine from Roederer Estate. It is their tete de cuvee and it is everything you could want from a good sparkling wine: very fine and delicate. It is not as yeasty as a French Champagne but I think it’s the best in America. And the winemaker, Michel Salgues, is very consistent year after year.
