THOUSAND OAKS — Sheriff’s deputies will be on the lookout for speeders this week on Chiquita Lane in Thousand Oaks.
Beginning today and continuing through Saturday, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department’s Thousand Oaks Traffic Bureau will be aggressively enforcing the 25 mph speed limit on Chiquita Lane between 4 and 6 p.m., said Sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Bailey.
A residential street with driveways and sidewalks, Chiquita Lane connects Oak View Drive and Conejo School Road. The aggressive enforcement in the afternoon hours is a result of numerous complaints of people driving too fast, Bailey said.
