Gregg Adds Chief Executive to String of Titles at SDC

* William A. Gregg, president of SDC Technologies Inc. in Anaheim, has added the title of chief executive. He was formerly president and chief operating officer. SDC, a coating products company, is a joint venture company owned by Dow Corning Corp. and Pilkington plc. Gregg is a founder of the company, and also has held the positions of vice president and general manager, director of marketing and marketing development manager.

* Brad Miller has joined Deloitte & Touche Resources Connection LLC in Costa Mesa, a new subsidiary of Deloitte & Touche LLP, as director of finance. The subsidiary is designed to help companies with financial support services on an interim or project basis. Prior to joining the company, Miller was director of operations at Interim Legal Services Inc.

* Thomas W. Cresante has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Safety Components International Inc., a Costa Mesa manufacturer of automotive air bags and defense products. Cresante was previously president of AlliedSignal Inc.’s safety restraints systems operations.

* Ralph Brandi has been named senior vice president, corporate projects for Linfinity Microelectronics Inc., a Garden Grove subsidiary of SymmetriCom Inc. He had been vice president, modular products. Shufan Chan has been appointed senior vice president, chief technology officer, and Mark Granahan is now senior vice president, marketing and product development. Chan was previously vice president of engineering, and Granahan was formerly vice president of marketing.

* Patricia Tessier has joined Experian, an Orange-based supplier of consumer and business credit, direct marketing and real estate information services, as employment manager. She will be responsible for planning and organizing the new employment department at headquarters. Tessier previously held human resources management positions at TKB International and the Times Orange County Edition.

* Les Steinberger has been appointed a vice president of Sverdrup Facilities Inc. in Costa Mesa and West Coast principal for federal sector projects. His responsibilities include general management, operations and business development of this market for services in engineering, architecture and construction.

* Stephen A. Crisham has been named to manage the newly created mergers and acquisitions division of VR Business Brokers in Newport Beach. Before joining the company, Crisham was with the Geneva Companies for 12 years, as executive vice president of Geneva Business Services.

* Chuck West has joined Overland Resources Inc., a Laguna Hills municipal real estate firm, as director of asset management and leasing. He was formerly the director of real estate for the County of Orange.

* Barry B. White has joined the board of directors of Printrak International Inc. in Anaheim. He will also serve as vice president for the automated fingerprint identification systems company. White is president and founder of TFP Inc. of Greenville, S.C., which was recently bought by Printrak.

* Charles Corogenes has been named product manager, computed tomography for Toshiba America Medical Systems in Tustin. Prior to joining the company, Corogenes was Southwest regional sales manager for Philips Medical Systems. Before that, he spent eight years with Siemens Medical Systems Inc.

* Timothy Schaefer has joined Fieldman, Rolapp & Associates, an Irvine financial advisory firm, as an executive vice president and member of the board of directors. He was most recently a senior vice president of Evensen Dodge Inc.

* Tracey Olsen has joined Brower, Miller & Cole, a Newport Beach marketing and public relations firm, as production coordinator. She previously worked for the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., and in the media relations department of the Colorado Avalanche hockey team.

* Timothy J. Lawson has been named Irvine officer manager for Leighton and Associates Inc., geotechnical and environmental engineering consultants. Lawson has been with the firm for nine years and was previously senior project engineer/geologist.
