ORANGE — A 65-year-old Orange man died after being stricken Wednesday morning while driving his car along Main Street, where it crashed into a building.
Robert Flentge, who witnesses said was slumped over the wheel, crashed in a strip mall in the 900 block after striking a building on the other side of the street, police said.
Flentge was pronounced dead at St. Joseph Hospital, police said. No one else was injured in the 7:15 a.m. accident just south of Katella Avenue.
Police said it was not clear whether Flentge had a stroke or heart attack or some other type of seizure before losing control of the car, which was traveling about 35 mph.
