At 3:15 p.m., Southern Section playoffs, first round, Division IV, La Canada at Gladstone; Division V, Village Christian at Mammoth. At 4 p.m., Buckley at Brethren Christian.

High school softball: At 3 p.m., Southern Section playoffs, first round, Division VI, West Valley Christian at Lone Pine. At 3:15 p.m., Division V, Fillmore at Village Christian;

Boys’ tennis: At 1 p.m., City Section individual championships (singles and doubles), third round, at Studio City Racquet Centre.
