Annual Jazz Concert to Benefit School Bands

The jazz bands from Tuffree Middle School and El Dorado High School will present their 10th annual Big Jazz Concert on Friday.
Guest artists Chuck Findley, lead trumpet in the “Tonight Show” band, and Eric Marienthal, former saxophonist with the Chick Corea Elektric Band, will also perform with the more than 55 students and alumni.
Selections will include big band, contemporary and Latin jazz. Tickets are $8. Proceeds benefit the Placentia schools’ bands.
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Fullerton College Auditorium, 321 E. Chapman Ave. Information: (714) 524-7700.
