“The Cars Don’t Leak, but the Rankings Do” (May 9), your article on car quality rankings, says that “the image of Hyundai rests unpeacefully somewhere between an ’87 Yugo and the ’59 Mets.”
In that case, Hyundai’s woes are dire indeed as the Mets went hitless, runless and winless in ’59. That is because the Mets did not join the National League until 1962.
