Season series: 2-2.
TV: TNT, 5:30 PDT.
Sneer at Pat Riley teams at your peril, because they play with fearsome tenacity. Remember 1992, when his first New York Knick squad came off an exhausting five-gamer against the Detroit Pistons to give the Bulls the greatest scare in four title runs, beating them in Game 1 and becoming the only ones in those four postseasons to take them to seven?
Aside from that, however, this looks like a gift for the Bulls.
First, they will have had a week off, invaluable for old guys. The Heat gets 48 hours off to recover from its second elimination game in two weeks.
Second, the Bulls play great defense and the Heat is a bad offensive team.
Prediction: At this level, they have a word for teams like the Heat: toast. Bulls, 4-1.
