Debate on Main Street Make-Over Resumes
The City Council is considering a make-over for Main Street.
Merchants and residents will tell the council today how they would like to spruce up the historic main thoroughfare.
Plans to renovate Main Street have been debated for years, but few changes have been made.
The latest campaign began in 1994, when a consultant hired by the city presented a plan to bring more business to the street. But it was aborted shortly after Orange County declared bankruptcy in December of that year.
The council meets at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave. Information: (714) 961-7100.
