Datametrics Posts Gain in 1st Quarter

Datametrics Corp. mounted a profit turnaround in its first quarter as its revenues grew 32%.
The Woodland-Hills based technology company posted net income of $79,000 in the first quarter ended April 27, compared to a loss of $3.1 million a year ago.
Revenues in the latest quarter rose 32% to $6.2 million from $4.7 million a year earlier.
The company said the growth was due to sales of defense and industrial printers, workstations, and related products and services.
Datametrics manufactures high-speed, high-resolution color printers.
