TODAY’S GAME

DODGERS’ RAMON MARTINEZ (3-2, 3.79 ERA) vs. EXPOS’ JEFF JUDEN (3-0, 4.58 ERA)

Olympic Stadium, Montreal, 10:30 a.m. PDT

Radio--KABC (790 AM), KWKW (1330 AM).

* UPDATE: Martinez is off to a slow start, but the Dodgers have gone 7-2 in the nine games he has started. The Dodgers were shut out the only two times they have lost in Martinez’s starts. Martinez, the only Dodger starter with an earned-run average higher than 3.00, has a 7.36 ERA in his last four starts. He is 11-7 against the Expos and has won six of his last seven decisions against them. The Dodger rotation has been uncanny in the last 17 games, with a 2.15 ERA (37 runs in 155 innings). Catcher Mike Piazza, who was in a 2-for-32 slump, produced two singles Sunday, his first multi-hit game since May 6. The Dodgers still remember the night Juden showed them up in 1995 after he hit a grand slam against them while pitching for the Philadelphia Phillies. Juden is 1-1 with a 2.79 ERA in three starts against the Dodgers.
