Chapman Plays N.C. Wesleyan

Chapman will open the NCAA Division III championship baseball tournament against top-ranked North Carolina Wesleyan on Saturday in Salem, Va.
The Panthers, 31-14 and ranked 17th, defeated No. 3 Cal Lutheran in the West regional Saturday. Wesleyan (39-5) swept through the South regional, outscoring opponents, 38-9, in three games.
The double-elimination tournament continues May 25-28.
