* Re “ ‘Adult Support System’ Knows Best?” Commentary, May 14: Katherine Dowling’s world apparently doesn’t include the teenager whose father beats her bloody when she comes home and reports she’s pregnant. Also, she doesn’t put her barbs where they belong, in the hide of the physician who botched the abortion. Doctors are sacrosanct, parents are sacrosanct? At least your headline writer understood the problem and accented it with the question mark.
