Jail Inmate, 50, Dies Dies of Heart Attack

SANTA ANA — A 50-year-old jail inmate died of a heart attack Sunday at the Orange County Central Men’s Jail while visiting with friends, according to Orange County Sheriff’s Department officials.
The Cypress man had been held for two months on $100,000 bail for charges of spousal rape, false imprisonment and terrorist threats,
The man’s name was withheld pending notification of his family, officials said.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene, then taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was pronounced dead.
