FULLERTON — A man claiming to have a gun robbed a Wells Fargo Bank branch inside a Ralphs grocery store Saturday evening, but there were no shots or injuries, police said.
Shortly after 6 p.m., the man walked into a back office of the bank and took a manager by surprise while the safe was open, said Police Lt. Tony Hernandez. There was no word on how much money was taken.
Hernandez said no one else inside the grocery store at 3330 E. Yorba Linda Blvd. saw the man enter or leave.
Police were seeking a Latino man about 5 feet 8 inches tall, in his early to mid-20s, with long black hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a long white T-shirt and baggy blue pants.
