Pacific Mutual Appoints Several Vice Presidents

* Gerald W. Robinson has been appointed executive vice president, annuities for Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Newport Beach. He joined the company in 1994 and has overall responsibility for the annuities business unit. Anthony J. Bonno has been named senior vice president of human resources. He joined Pacific Mutual in 1978. In addition, Diane N. Ledger is now vice president, law; Dewey P. Bushaw was named vice president, annuities; and Henry M. McMillan was appointed vice president, pension investments.
* Kim Hibler has been named to the newly created position of vice president, operations and services for Wyle Electronics, an Irvine distributor of semiconductors and computer products. She had been vice president, southwest region. Hibler joined Wyle in 1990 as an area sales manager for the Los Angeles division.
* Robert Kreps has been appointed director of Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc.’s new Healthcare Business Development Group. Kreps was previously with Stryker Medical Systems, where he headed up its new strategic accounts program and was southeast regional manager. Prior to that, he worked for General Electric Medical Systems in a variety of positions. Tustin-based Toshiba America Medical Systems sells and services diagnostic imaging systems.
* Murray Krow has been named vice president, creative services for Paine & Associates, a Costa Mesa public relations agency. Krow joined the agency in 1993 as creative director.
* Link Newcomb, chief operating officer of Oakley Inc., will act as interim chief financial officer for the Foothill Ranch-based eyewear company, following the resignation of Robert Bruning. Newcomb previously held the position of chief financial officer.
* F. Rene Alvarez Jr. has joined the board of directors of L.L. Knickerbocker Co., a Rancho Santa Margarita marketer of branded collectibles, jewelry and accessories and consumer products. He fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Lowell W. Paxson for personal reasons. Alvarez is senior vice president of the Pacific Bay Homes subsidiary of Ford Motor Co.
* Dan P. Perritt has been appointed vice president and chief financial officer for AM Medical Center in Anaheim. He was formerly vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Holy Cross Medical Center in Los Angeles and director, corporate audit group for Holy Cross Health System in South Bend, Ind.
* Benjamin R. Du has joined the board of directors of AAC Corp., an Irvine telemanagement, data management and call center management software and services company. Du is president and founder of Flojet Corp., a manufacturer of pump systems and electric motors.
* David P. Silva has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Aluminum Precision Products Inc. in Santa Ana. Silva has been with the company 10 years, most recently as sales manager.
* Eric C. Harrison has been named project manager for the urban housing division of Catellus Residential Group in Irvine. He is a former assistant project manager in the community development division.
* Christopher Lentz has been appointed director of internal communications for Experian, an Orange-based supplier of consumer and business credit, direct marketing and real estate information services. Lentz had been manager of internal communications.
* John Lucan has joined Netlock, a unit of Hughes Electronics Corp. in Fullerton, as director of sales. He was with Connectware Inc., and was vice president of sales at Netronix, a manufacturer of network equipment.
* Carol Dominguez has been named operations manager at the Buena Park Mall. She was formerly responsible for management of three retail centers for University Management Services in San Diego County. In addition, Lori A. Jones has been appointed director of leasing for the mall. She was previously leasing representative for Haagen Property Management.
* Jackie Reed has been appointed president and chief executive of Fair Riley Call/Bozell, a Costa Mesa health-care marketing and communications agency. The agency was recently formed by the merger of Bozell Healthcare West, a unit of Bozell Wellness Worldwide, and Fair Riley Call Communications in Laguna Beach. Reed was formerly senior partner and director of Bozell Healthcare West. Other principals include Sher Call and Rich Fair, both managing partner and creative director, and Tim Riley, managing partner, account services director.
* Tracy Engeleiter has been named senior associate for Nelson Communications Group’s Irvine division. Engeleiter will implement public relations and public affairs programs for clients and oversee day-to-day account activities. She joined the company three years ago.
