Huntington Beach 3, Mission Viejo 0--Calede Guimaraes had 17 kills for Huntington Beach (16-3), which won, 15-9, 15-11, 15-5.

Newport Harbor 3, Aliso Niguel 0--Dana Mesenbrink and Scott Archbold each had 11 kills in the 15-7, 15-13, 15-9 victory for the visiting Sailors (11-6). Newport Harbor will host third-seeded Capistrano Valley in the next round.

In Division II:

Santa Margarita 3, Hemet West Valley 0--Ryan Hodge had 10 kills and John Hinds added 10 digs in the 15-3, 15-3, 19-17 victory for top-seeded Santa Margarita (15-2), which advanced to play Canyon.

Canyon 3, Bolsa Grande 1--Craig Scott had 16 kills in the 15-13, 1-15, 15-1, 15-9 victory for Canyon (11-6).

Jeff Aichelman had 14 kills and Chris Porter had 12 for Bolsa Grande (15-4).

Villa Park 3, Garden Grove 1--Jared Smith had 16 kills for the Spartans (17-0), who won, 15-9, 13-15, 15-9, 15-9. Villa Park advanced to play Servite.

Servite 3, La Quinta 1--Scott Lambert had 16 kills and Mike Deal added 15 to lead Servite (10-7), which won, 15-2, 15-4, 6-15, 17-15. Scott Ogilvie had 20 kills for La Quinta (10-7).

In Division III:

Calvary Chapel 3, Los Angeles Le Lycee 0--David Engle had seven kills for fourth-seeded Calvary Chapel (12-3), which won, 15-1, 15-1, 15-5. The Eagles will play L.A. Windward.

Corona del Mar 3, Ontario Christian 0--Outside hitter Blair Hoppe had 16 kills for the Sea Kings (11-4), who won, 15-7, 15-6, 15-5. Corona del Mar will play Capistrano Valley Christian, which defeated Southwestern Academy, 15-8, 15-10, 15-2.
