Cheryl Ann Jackley; Bookkeeper, 27-Year Resident

Longtime county resident Cheryl Ann Jackley of Ventura, a bookkeeper for a sound and lighting company, died Thursday at a local hospital after a brief illness. She was 42.
Jackley was born Jan. 3, 1955, in Pomona and lived in Ventura for 27 years.
She was a graduate of Ventura High School and attended Oxnard College. Jackley worked at the Oxnard Hilton and most recently at Luner’s Professional Sound & Lighting Systems.
Jackley is survived by her mother, Jo Ann Jackley of Ventura; brothers John of Ventura and Donald of Fresno; three nephews; two uncles; one great-uncle; and special friend John Reder of Ventura.
Friends may call today from noon to 5 p.m. at Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles R. Simmons officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home.
