Jose Canseco and Matt Stairs each homered twice and Mark McGwire added his 13th homer as the Oakland Athletics snapped a seven-game losing streak Wednesday night with a 7-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Canseco and McGwire hit consecutive solo shots in the third inning, the 10th time they have hit back-to-back home runs. In the fourth, Canseco followed Stairs’ two-run blast with his eighth home run.

Stairs added a solo shot in the seventh, his fifth, for his first multi-homer game.

McGwire snapped a 25-at-bat homerless streak that was his longest such drought since 1994.
