Long Beach (43-18-1, 23-9 in conference) is ranked 11th nationally. Manarino won the award in 1986.
The 49ers’ Jessie Martinez was selected first-team all-conference as a utility player. She was joined on the first team by second baseman Nikki Hart and shortstop Julie Williams of Cal State Fullerton.
Four Long Beach players made the second team: pitchers Tammy Dietrich and Amy Miner, second baseman Amanda Favorite and catcher Amanda Adams.
