Writer-director White Stillman takes a fond, yet fully self-aware, look at the world of modern debutantism. This social comedy, set during New York’s Christmas season of parties and balls, features a winning cast of fresh-faced actors, notably Christopher Eigeman as the cynically tart-tongued Nick and Carolyn Farina (pictured) (Showtime Sunday at 2:30 p.m.).
