Piazza, Dodgers Must Grin and Berra It
In the article, “Dodgers Sink to New Low,” a comment by Mike Piazza was reminiscent of the speech of another outstanding catcher, Yogi Berra, and his manager, Casey Stengel. Mike is quoted as saying, “I’m not going to say we’re pulling the panic button.” The Dodgers have played better since then, so Mike won’t have to push that emergency brake cord to stop their slide.

2. Able to pinch-hit, and
3. Hitting .360.
