IRVINE — CardioVascular Dynamics Inc. said Tuesday that it has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration to market three variations of devices aimed at providing quicker, more accurate vascular access for young children, infants and elderly surgery patients.
The company said the potential market for these P.D. Access products in pediatric patients is more than $100 million annually. CardioVascular expects to begin limited production during the third quarter.
CardioVascular develops and markets drug delivery catheters, coronary stent delivery systems, balloon dilatation catheters and vascular access products.
