Bestowing Foreign Coins on a Cause

Got a pocketful of foreign coins from your last trip abroad? You generally can’t exchange them at banks back home, but now you can donate them to charity.
Under a pilot program, Uniglobe Travel Inc., a travel agency network, will accept foreign coins and also paper money at its offices in the Southland, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz., and donate them to Easter Seal programs for children with disabilities. Call (800) 999-8000 for details.
