Regarding “A Hard Look at the Fine Print,” by Eric Taub (April 6):
Do the buyers and sellers of real estate honestly think that a hard do-it-yourself study of the purchase contract rather than hiring an experienced real estate attorney from the beginning is the real answer to their future problems?
What happened to “An ounce of (professional) prevention is worth a pound ($) of cure,” in spite of our present dislike of attorneys?
