ORANGE — Two teenagers were reported in serious condition at area hospitals after they were wounded late Friday when gunfire broke out at a party in the 4800 block of East Bond Avenue, Orange police said.
The youths, 17 and 15, were shot about 10:50 p.m. when several young men crashed the party “and began causing problems with some of the guests,” according to a police report.
Two of the uninvited guests pulled out handguns and shot two of the party-goers before fleeing, police said.
About 50 people were at the party at the time, police said, and it remained unclear whether the shootings were gang-related. The investigation was continuing.
