Printer Maker Printronix Reports Record Year

IRVINE — Printronix Inc., a manufacturer of computer printers, said net income and revenue set records for the fiscal year ended March 28.
Net income increased 72% to $11.7 million, or $1.40 a share, from $6.8 million, or 82 cents a share, for the prior year. Revenue rose 9% to $173.3 million from $159.3 million. Fourth-quarter net income advanced to $3.5 million, or 42 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 16 cents a share, for the like period last year.
Sales were up 1% to $41 million from $40.4 million.
