Kiwanis Challenge Groups to Ante Up
Some Kiwanis Club members here have challenged the Rotary, Lions and other service groups to match their contribution to the Orange Senior Center.
The Orange Suburbia Kiwanis Club and the Orange Kiwanis Club presented a huge facsimile of a $1,000 check to Keith Regan, executive director of Orange Elderly Services Inc., which operates the senior center on Olive Street.
The actual funds went into the permanent endowment that keeps the center running.
At the same time, they issued a challenge to the other service clubs to match their gift, dollar for dollar.
Information: Kim F. Kadletz, president, Kiwanis Club of Orange Suburbia, (714) 541-1455.
