Corona del Mar, the only team to beat Santa Margarita in a dual match this season, will take on the Eagles again at Newport Beach Country Club.
Two weeks ago, the Sea Kings beat Santa Margarita on the strength of their sixth golfer after the teams tied, 202-202, at Coto de Caza. However, Corona del Mar isn’t as deep a team anymore after No. 3 player Chad Towersey injured his knee surfing. The Sea Kings (14-4, 7-2) have lost two consecutive league matches.
“Things are a little upside down since the Chad deal,” Coach Paul Hahn said. “We’re a little shellshocked right now.”
