Top-ranked Woodbridge (17-0, 7-0) can clinch the Sea View League title and become the top-seeded team in the upcoming Southern Section Division playoffs with a victory at fifth-ranked Santa Margarita today at 3 p.m. The Warriors won the Division I championship last year, but finished second in league to Corona del Mar. The Warriors have beaten Corona del Mar twice this year and could sweep Santa Margarita (15-2, 5-2) with a victory today. Earlier this season, Woodbridge defeated the Eagles, 15-3, without one of its top doubles players, junior Brandon Shainfield, who was serving a two-week suspension for disciplinary reasons. Shainfield returned from his suspension Tuesday to post three victories with doubles partner Greg Levy in the Warriors’ 13-5 victory over Corona del Mar.
