The Eta Aquarid meteor shower peaks Monday, although activity is strong for several days before and after. These swift meteors come from Halley’s comet and appear to radiate from the direction of the constellation Aquarius. The shower’s radiant point, which lies about 20 degrees to the left of Jupiter, does not rise until almost 3 a.m. The best time to observe it is shortly before dawn.
