Police Department to Offer Open House

The Fountain Valley Police Department will host an open house this weekend featuring demonstrations of SWAT team equipment and an introduction to the canine unit.
McGruff, the crime-fighting dog, also will make an appearance.
Parents will be able to have their children fingerprinted at no cost.
The tour of the department at 10200 Slater Ave. will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is being held in conjunction with California’s Law Enforcement Appreciation Week through May 9.
