Host Families Sought for Exchange Students

A student exchange program is seeking families to host foreign high school students in the Yorba Linda area for three weeks in July.
Host families are asked to provide a bedroom and three meals a day for the students, who will be studying English from July 10 to 31 at North Orange County Community College Continuing Education Center in Yorba Linda.
The students, from France and Africa, range in age from 15 to 19. Their native language is French. All have studied English and some are fluent, program officials said.
The summer session will be the program’s seventh in North County.
Among the benefits of becoming a host, officials said, are learning about other cultures and developing long-term friendships with the students and their families overseas.
