THOUSAND OAKS — Ventura County sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man who robbed the Postal Depot Plus in Thousand Oaks at gunpoint this week.
The robber--described as a white male between 25 and 30 years old, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes--walked into the store at 2899 Agoura Road about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday to ask about prices, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.
About 40 minutes later, as the owner was closing the store, the man returned, pulled out a handgun and said, “I have a gun,” the spokesman said.
The owner ran out of the store and left behind the day’s receipts for the robber, the spokesman said. Investigators would not say how much money was stolen.
