Lancaster Woman, 18, Dies in Collision

LANCASTER — An 18-year-old Lancaster woman was instantly killed after her vehicle collided with another, the Los Angeles County’s Sheriff’s Department reported Tuesday.
Angela Gonzalez was making a left turn Monday night from Avenue K onto Kirkland Avenue, when she pulled into the path of 21-year-old motorist Aaron Clark of Lancaster, according to the sheriff’s reports.
The car driven by Clark, who was traveling east at approximately 50 mph, hit the passenger side of Gonzalez’s auto.
She died at the scene. Clark was treated at Lancaster Community Hospital for a fractured ankle.
