Wheeler, ‘Avenue Live!’ Set for Jazz Program

Bassist Nedra Wheeler will work with young aspiring jazz musicians at the Jazz Mentorship Program series Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Gallery Theatre in Barnsdall Art Park, 4800 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles.
The video “Central Avenue Live!” will be screened at 5 p.m. It was shot during the 1996 Central Avenue Jazz Festival. Admission is free to both events. Reservations are suggested for the mentorship series and are required for the screening.
