Cecilia Presley, the granddaughter of legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, is the newest member of Chapman University’s board of trustees.
Presley, who lives in Newport Beach, is a general partner of Motion Picture Associates and a director of the Cecil B. DeMille Foundation, which offers arts and other programs to abused children. The USC alumna, who was appointed to the university’s board last month, also sits on the advisory board to Chapman’s School of Film and Television.
“I’ve been interested in getting involved with Chapman for some time because of its high caliber,” Presley said. “It has really grown and it’s a fine university.”
