Opponent--Denver Nuggets.
Site--McNichols Arena, Denver.
Time--6.
TV--Channel 9.
Radio--KLAC (570).
Records--Lakers 43-21, Nuggets 19-45.
Record vs. Nuggets--2-0.
Laker update--After opting Friday not to sign Larry Krystkowiak for the rest of the season, the Lakers have decided not to bring in another 10-day player and will go with 11 on the roster until Robert Horry returns near the end of the month. This starts their second five-game swing in about three weeks and a stretch in which seven of the next eight and nine of 13 are on the road.
Nugget update--Having last week joined Bill Fitch as the only members of the 1,000-loss club, Dick Motta needs six more wins to pass Red Auerbach for second place on the all-time coaching list. Considering the Nuggets are 2-9 since trading Mark Jackson and have 18 games left, it should be a close call. Motta is likely to be replaced after the season.
